New online home for the SSNC
Well, its been a long time coming...
Finally, the Scottish Scout Network Council has a new website to become the hub of our communications.
The Scottish Scout Network Council website is now powered by a customised version of the Concrete5 Framework - This is very powerful and free software that ensures our website will continue to meet our needs in the coming years.
The Sites design is based on the work of Richard Fairbarin from South East Region and has been modified slightly to create a more uniform SSNC Brand.
The site now has a document library that will hold the minutes of the SSNC and any other poublications from the council.
We have an interactive map of all the (known) Networks in Scotland along with instructions on how to join them.
We have an events calendar that all known Networks can contribute to to advertise their event on the national stage. It also contains events of National Events organised by SHQ.
Overall, the site has been built to be simple, fast and efficent. In order to keep the site fresh we need your news and stories from around the country on what your Network is doing, as a group, with other Networks and within your Districts and Regions. This site is as much to Showcase Network in Scotland to the world as it is to support our members - So lets show them that Network is an active youth section that has a lot to contribute to the Everyday Adventure
