Are you Network minus?

If you're a Scout Network member, then you should receive the Network+ email newsletter every Wednesday starting this week.

If you don't, make sure your Network Leader has registered you on the Membership Services System. Contact Emma Saunders for more details on programme@scouts.org.uk or by calling 020 8433 7125.

Are you taking full advantage of Scout Network and everything it offers?

Take a look at the truckload of opportunities available to you including: getting involved with public affairs, completing your Queen's Scout Award or applying for a survival weekend with Bear Grylls.

Don't forget to complete the survey that will help shape how we contact you in the future.

Could you survive 24 hours with a Bear?

Eight lucky Scout Network members holding the Queen's Scout Award will get to camp with the Chief Scout on a 24-hour survival camp on his island in Wales. Apply by downloading an application form before 30 April 2011.

Do it your way

Aberdeen Network are taking over the April/May Network supplement. In it they talk about their trip to Kenya, cook campfire calzone pizzas and reinvent the game of Quoits. There's also a very special guest. To feature your Network in the supplement contact programme@scouts.org.uk

Add value to your CV, prepare yourself with life skills and reach the top of Scouting by working towards the Queen's Scout Award. A series of updated resources are now available to download.

Speak up about issues that affect you

Do you like to fight for your rights? Get involved in the Don't Raise Our Rents campaign for fair and affordable rents and rates for meeting places.

Discuss Scouting issues with public figures at Scouts Question Time on 25 June, or join your MP at Speaker's Reception and engage with them on Scouting issues.
